Happy Saturday! Today’s new Sketch Saturday challenge is sponsored by The Paper Shelter who is offering a $10.00 gift certificate to their store for our random winner. You have until Friday, December 4th to enter for a chance to win.
Here’s the sketch:
The Paper Shelter digital stamp used for my card is called “December 26th.” You can use the pre-colored image like I did or you can color up your own image. I printed two images out and popped up the second one over the first to give shadow and dimension. For the paper I used a Studio Calico 6 x 6 pad called, “Wonderland” and added a Tim Holtz label tag and sentiment. Using pre-colored images is a great way to get lots of homemade Christmas cards in a hurry.
It’s Friday and time for more a new post at A Day For Daisies! This week we are continuing to add “Watercolor” to our projects using the Native Hearts Showcase images. The challenge will run through Thursday, December 3rd at noon on the A Day For Daisies Blog!
For my card today I used the sweet showcase image called, “Acorn For Dinner.” I colored her with Copic Markers, cut her out with My Favorite Things circle dies, and added a title cut from the Carta Bella “Fall Blessing” papers.
We’d also love for you to visit our Facebook Community Page where you can post your creations in addition to adding them on the blog. Adding “Watercolor” to your projects is so trendy and I can’t wait to see what your creations bring this week.
Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US. Today I’m posting one of three freebies with purchase at A Day For Daisies called “Raccoon with Corn.” I colored him with Copic Markers and used Simple Stories “Pumpkin Spice” 6 x 6 paper pack. The faux edges are from a Lawn Fawn Border Die.
We are still taking entries for the add watercolor at the ADFD Blog. You have until Thursday, December 3rd at Noon.
The Crafty Nurse here with my last post for the month using the November release stamps. My card features the “Brick Wall Background S646” and “Park Walk SD665.” I began by stamping the brick wall with Black Onyx Versafine Ink then heat embossed with clear powder. I created the brick pattern using art anthology in Teracotta-Velvet, Pumpkin Spice-Sorbet, and Kenyan Copper-Sorbet. I then edged the entire stamp using “Black Leather Jacket Sorbet,” which created great texture. For my focal point, I stamped “Park Walk SD665” which I sprayed with Art Anthology Colorations in Avocado and Timeless.
I hope everyone is enjoying some family time for the Thanksgiving Holiday this week and hope you’ll find some time between eating and family to get inky.
It’s the fourth Wednesday of the Month and time for The House That Stamps Built sketch challenge. You have until Tuesday, December 1st to enter for a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate at Repeat Impressions.

Here’s the Sketch:
For my card today I stamped Repeat Impressions “Hello Cling Set” with Versamark ink and heat embossed the bottom half in blue and top in emerald to create a two-toned embossed greeting.
To make the flags, I die cut My Favorite Things flag die, covered the die with versmark, then repeatedly added colored embossing powder to get dimension. I finished off by distressing the card in Peeled Paint Distress Ink and added a few gems.
I hope you’ll join us at The House That Stamps Built, you may be our next winner!

Hello friends! Happy Monday! I’m here with Sketch #128 at From The Heart Stamps. These are great challenges because you can use just the sketch, or if you’d like, add the twist. The only requirement is that you use a From The Heart image. The rest is up to you. The twist for this challenge is to use your favorite color.I used both the sketch and the twist this week. My favorite color is Red! For my image, I used, “Peeking Snowman” which I fussy cut to use as the circle element in the sketch.
The paper used is “Winter Wonderland by My Minds Eye.” I colored the image with Copic Markers and added a sentiment from the paper pack.
I hope you’ll join us for the sketch this week at From The Heart Stamps.
