Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge #113 Happy Holidays

Happy Weekend!  It’s time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge and we are celebrating “Happy Holidays!”  The challenge sponsors are offering some great prizes for our winners and you have until Friday, November 20th to enter.

I also wanted to remind you that Send a Smile 4 Kids continues to need your donations and we hope that after you enter the challenge you’ll consider sending your cards to SAS4Kids for children in need.  Check out how.

Now, let’s get on to those sponsors:

1) Doodle Pantry– offering a $10.00 Gift Certificate to Store

2) A Day For Daisies – offering a $12.00 Gift Certificate to Store

3) DeeDee Digi’s– offering a $15.00 Gift Certificate to Store

My first card features Doodle Pantry’s “Stocking Ants.”  These little rascals look like they are having a blast in that stocking don’t they?  I colored the image with Copic Markers and used the design paper called, “Jolly” by American Crafts.  I finished off with a sentiment from My Favorite Things and faux stitching.

My next card is from A Day For Daisies called, “Christmas Bulbs.”  I also colored this with Copic Markers and added distress ink to age it up a little. My sentiment is a PaperSmooches die cut from DCWV Glitter Paper.  The dies used were Simon Says Stamp and My Favorite Things. I finished off with some gems and called her done.

I love Bugaboo images and today I’ve chosen to color up “Ornaments Bear” with Copic Markers.  The background is Hero Arts Silver Pigment ink that is heat set with clear powder.

The paper is an Carta Bella’s “Bundled Up” and the sentiment is from Ellen Hutson by Julie Ebersole.

I sure hope you’ll join us this week at Sketch Saturday.  You have until Friday, November 13th to enter.  I look forward to your entry and who knows, you could be the winner!
