Herringbone Washi
This background is made from washi tape in a Herringbone Pattern as learned at Technique Junkies, an excellent subscription technique site that provides hundreds and hundreds of techniques for cards. The base was run through a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder “Swiss Dots” and the sentiment is from Club Scrap and embossed with Versafine Black Onyx and Clear Powder.

Kathy, what a neat idea to use your washi tape for a background and then emboss it with an embossing folder. I haven’t used any of my washi tape, so mabye I’ll have to give it a try after seeing this. I really like the sentiment on your card too. 🙂 Thanks for joining us at the Friday Mashup.
