A Day For Daisies: Anything Goes Challenge
It’s Friday and time for a reminder about the A Day For Daisies “Anything Goes” challenge using the January Kit Club “Penguins!” Aren’t these little guys adorable? The challenge will run through Thursday, January 14th at noon on the A Day For Daisies Blog!
For my card today I used the cheerful image called, “Penguin Flight.” So perfect for a celebration so I brought out my Distress Inks and my Post-It roll and got to masking off linear shapes to create my card base. This was a technique I learned in Laura Bassen’s Craftsy Class. If you haven’t tried any of these courses, they are really super.
I created the yellow “halo” by keeping the My Favorite Things oval die in place and inking scattered straw over the top. I finished off with my sentiment from My Favorite Things and stars by Simon Says Stamp.
We’d love for you to visit our Facebook Community Page where you can post your creations in addition to adding them on the blog.
