Technique Junkies – Grace in Her Heart
Hello Junkies! I’m here today with a Technique Junkies October release stamp called “Grace in Her Heart #SD819”. I began my background using Distress Paints adapting the Distress Stain Dip Technique from Artistic Effects CD. I then ran it through an embossing folder for texture. My stamp is on kraft cardstock using Versfine Black Onyx ink.
I hope you find some time to get crafty today. We are all over at the Technique Junkies Facebook Page so if you haven’t stopped by, we’d love to see you! We also look forward to your entries in our monthly challenge over at the Design Team Blog.
Technique Junkies – Honoring our Military on Memorial Day
Hey Junkies!
The Crafty Nurse here today as we go into Memorial Day 2017 to honor those service men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country and the freedoms we enjoy. Thankfully, my youngest son, Matt, a United States Marine, came home safely so my heart goes out to all those mothers and fathers who provided the ultimate sacrifice.
Stamps:
I used my MISTI tool to do repeated stamping with Tombow Markers in #856, #565, #055. Place stamp in MISTI and stamp each section using Tombow Markers. The background is stamped simply with Versamark Ink in a staggered pattern.
I hope you and your family enjoy this extended weekend and take a few minutes to appreciate the sacrifice made by so many of our countries military persons.

From The Heart Stamps March Blog Hop!
Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. This month the theme is “Spring”.
As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store.
If you have arrived from Kathy Curry’s website, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.
My Spring card today features “Hamlet Pigwit in the Planter”, which I colored using a few new colors of Daniel Smith watercolors. When I watercolor digital images, I used lightweight watercolor paper at 90 lbs and let your ink dry completely before you start. You may get some bleeding, but that is okay to use for shading.
Now head over to Kelly Schelske’s and see what she has created.
Thanks for hopping with us today and may your spring days be thoroughly enjoyed. Our hop will end on Sunday March 12th 2017 at 6 am, and the winners will be posted on Wednesday March 15th at the From the Heart Stamps Blog. Please also visit us at the From the Heart Stamps Facebook group to share you cards and projects.
