A Blog Named Hero – Rainbow Magic
Hello! The Crafty Nurse here with a little Hero Arts inspiration for the Rainbow challenge at A Blog Named Hero.
Who doesn’t absolutely love the colors of the rainbow. I know it gives me a happy feeling with all those vibrant colors. This month we are collaborating with Avery Elle, who generously provided the Design Team with stamps to play with.
For my card today I started by stamping Avery Elle’s “Pure Magic” bunny in the hat which I then masked and stamped the balloon and stars from Hero Arts. The image is colored with Copic Markers and finished off with glossy accents and Ranger Enamels.
I hope you’ll join us at A Blog Named Hero for our March Rainbow Card Challenge! I’ll see you later on this month with another card showing off more Avery Elle goodness.
Send a Smile 4 Kids: Easter & Spring 4 Kids
Happy Saturday! That means it’s time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge and we are celebrating Easter and Spring 4 Kids! Here in Virginia we actually had snow yesterday, so this is a welcome look at spring.
The challenge will run through Friday, March 18th. We’d also like to remind you that Send a Smile 4 Kids would love to have your donated cards to give to hospitalized children. We hope you’ll consider sending in some of your treasures for kids in need. Check out how.
Now, let’s get on to those sponsors:
1) Crackerbox Palace – offering 3 digital images of winners choice
3) Di-versions – offering a $15.00 Gift Certificate to their store.
My first card uses Crackerbox Palace “Pixie with Pixie Dust.” I colored her with Copic’s and the paper is Basic Grey’s “Fresh Cut” collection. The circle and banner dies are My Favorite Things.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with using Spring and Easter images to enter at Send a Smile 4 Kids.
