Happy Saturday! Today Send a Smile 4 Kids begins a new Anything Goes Challenge! We have some great prizes from our generous sponsors for our randomly chosen winner. The design team will also be choosing their favorites and those cards will be featured on the Send a Smile 4 Kids blog.
Our sponsors are:
1) Flat Friends Boutique: Prize of 6 digital images of winners choice
2) Crafty Sentiments: Prize of 3 digital images of winners choice
3) Stitchy Bear: $6.00 Gift Certificate to Store
Now, how about a little inspiration to get you going?
My first card uses Flat Friends Boutique, “Music Time,” which I colored in Copics. The paper pack is Basic Grey’s Hipster collection cut out using a My Favorite Things square die and backed with a My Favorite Things rectangle die. The sentiment is in the paper pack.
My next card uses a digital image from “Crafty Sentiments called, “Summer Breeze”. I colored her with Copic Markers and cut her out using a bracket die from my stash. The “You” sentiment and background paper is cut with Simon Says Stamp dies.
I sure hope you will join us at Send a Smile 4 Kids this challenge for a chance to win some great prizes in our Anything Goes Challenge!
Happy Weekend! It’s time for the new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids and this time it’s, “For The Girls!” We have some really great sponsors offering prizes to our winners. You have until Friday, June 19th to enter.
I also wanted to remind you that Send a Smile 4 Kids needs your cards for hospitalized kids. With Operation Write Home closing on August 1st, I sure hope you will consider sending your donated cards to Send a Smile 4 Kids. Here’s how to donate.
Here’s our sponsors:
1) Flat Friends – offering 6 Digital Images of Winners Choice
2) The Paper Shelter – offering 3 Digital Images of Winners Choice
3) Bugaboo – offering a 7 Digital Images of Winners Choice
Now how about some inspiration? My first card uses Flat Friends “Summer Swim.” I colored the image with Copic Markers and used Echo Parks “Walking on Sunshine” 6 x 6 collection. The fish and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn’s “Critters of the Sea.” The dies are My Favorite Things Ovals and Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rectangles. For the waves I broke out my old EK Success wave punch. I really need to get a wave die.
My next card is from The Paper Shelter called, “Sophie in the Country.” I colored Sophie with Copic Markers and cut her out with a Sizzix keyhole die. The paper pack is from Amy Tangerine’s “Rise & Shine” collection. I stamped an Impressions Obsessions distressed background with Hero Arts Shadow Ink. The sentiment and label is from Simon Says Stamp and the card is finished with a few enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by and we sure hope you’ll come on over to Send a Smile 4 Kids an play along!
Happy Saturday! That means it’s time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge and we are having fun with punches and dies. I can remember a few years ago when it was not common to have a die for almost every stamp made and that you needed an entire wall to store all your punches. Thankfully, dies are thin and I’m not afraid to admit, I have a few!
As usual for we have some really great sponsors this week. You have until Friday, March 6th to enter.
Also, a quick reminder that Send a Smile 4 Kids is growing and has added more hospitals and volunteers to take your donated cards. We hope you’ll consider donating some cards for kids in need. Check out how.
Now, let’s get on to those sponsors:
1) Flat Friends – offering 6 digital images of winners choice
2) Paper Shelter – offering 3 digital images of winners choice
3) Sassy Studios – offering 4 digital images of winners choice
My first card uses Flat Friends “Love Heart”. He’s colored with Copic’s and the paper is Carta Bella “Boy oh Boy” collection. The “bubble die” is My Favorite Things and the curved die he’s sitting on is the “curved edge” die from Simon Says Stamp. The love sentiment is Paper Smooches.
The next card features “Soccer Star” from Paper Shelter. He’s colored with copics and the paper is and oldie but a goodie from Deja Views called “Sports”. The circles dies are from My Favorite Things.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with using your punches and dies.
