I’m enjoying a little, okay, a lot of Sunday coloring. Today, I finished the January Create & Learn by Kit & Clowder. This month has some great lessons on creating beaches, clouds, sand and these really cool palm trees. If you haven’t taken classes at Kit & Clowder I really encourage you to do so because Alyce is just the best. One of the favorite aspects of class for me is finding new color combinations and ways to apply them.
Happy Saturday Sketchers! It’s time for a Sketch Saturday challenge and this week we are sponsored by Bunny Zoe Crafts who is offering a 10 pound gift certificate to their online store for our random winner!
The sketch this week is:
Today I’ve used a Make it Crafty digital image sold at Bunny Zoe Crafts. I colored her with Copic markers and created a street so she can do some exercising! I’ve been doing some walking of my own and thought this would be a great image for inspiration. After printing the image I used my Micron .03 pen and ruler to draw the sidewalk. I created the sky using Pan Pastels and a cloud stencil from my stash. It’s all cut out using a Simon Says Stamp stitched die and stamped with a Paper Smooches sentiment from “Sentiment Sampler.” Finally, the stars are a die from Papertrey ink.
I can’t wait to see what you create and Sketch Saturday Challenge!
Happy Saturday! Today I’ve made a card for Ellen Hutson’s Pin Sight Challenge. This is a super fun challenge that offers a great prize!
Here’s the inspiration:
I began by stamping Wish Big by Julie Ebersole in Hero Arts Shadow Ink then colored them with Copic Markers. I added some highlights in the balloons with my favorite white Signo Uniball then splattered with gold and black. I added the card panel crooked to give a little birthday whimsy.
Card made for I (Heart) Card Sketches 69 using digital image from “From the Heart” on Glitz “Hello Darling” 6 x 6 paper pad. The image is colored with copic markers and clouds are chalk using homemade cloud stencil. Faux stitching in black is with a .03 Copic Multiliner and the plain stitching on the cross strip is from the My Favorite Things Die. Sentiment is also MFT. Also entered in “critters” challenge for “Shopping our Stash” challenge 154.
