I colored the image with Copic Markers and used a My Favorite Things Blueprints Sketch die. The design paper is Boy oh Boy from Carte Belle.
I combined the Essential By Ellen’s “Thankful” blooms and “Lovely” stamp sets using Rock Candy Crackle Paint and Distress Ink to texturize these gorgeous fall leaves. So they popped, I used the My Favorite Things Flog Die, which allows the card to stand up to further display these blooms.
I hope you’ll join us at A Blog Named Hero for our September “Texture” Card Challenge! See you there!
Happy Saturday everyone! It’s time for another Send a Smile 4 Kids Card Challenge! This challenge features kid friendly Fall or Halloween cards. You have until Friday, September 16th to enter for a chance to win some great prizes by our sponsors:
) The Doodle Pantry – Prize – $10.00 Gift Certificate
2) Die-Versions – Prize – $15.00 Gift Certificate
For my card today I used an adorable Doodle Pantry Image called, “Quirky Scarecrow”. As with many of the Doodle Pantry images, it comes both colored and black and white. I colored this one up with Copic Markers and cut it out with a My Favorite Things flag stitched die. The paper is from Carta Bella “A Perfect Autumn”.
Hope you’ll join us over at Send a Smile 4 Kids for our Cute Fall or Halloween cards for Kids. Don’t forget, we’d also love to have your donated cards for hospitalized children all over.
Hello friends. Today I used Doodle Pantry’s “Happy Trails Camper” that I colored with Copics. In addition to the individual images there are a few “scenes” already put together for coloring. To achieve the night sky, I used BV25 with white gel pen for stars (thanks for the tip Sandy Allnock). The dies used are Memory Box, Lawn Fawn, Simon Says Stamp, and My Favorite Things. The paper is Carte Bella “Boy oh Boy.”
Happy Saturday! That means it’s time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge and we are having fun with punches and dies. I can remember a few years ago when it was not common to have a die for almost every stamp made and that you needed an entire wall to store all your punches. Thankfully, dies are thin and I’m not afraid to admit, I have a few!
As usual for we have some really great sponsors this week. You have until Friday, March 6th to enter.
Also, a quick reminder that Send a Smile 4 Kids is growing and has added more hospitals and volunteers to take your donated cards. We hope you’ll consider donating some cards for kids in need. Check out how.
Now, let’s get on to those sponsors:
1) Flat Friends – offering 6 digital images of winners choice
2) Paper Shelter – offering 3 digital images of winners choice
3) Sassy Studios – offering 4 digital images of winners choice
My first card uses Flat Friends “Love Heart”. He’s colored with Copic’s and the paper is Carta Bella “Boy oh Boy” collection. The “bubble die” is My Favorite Things and the curved die he’s sitting on is the “curved edge” die from Simon Says Stamp. The love sentiment is Paper Smooches.
The next card features “Soccer Star” from Paper Shelter. He’s colored with copics and the paper is and oldie but a goodie from Deja Views called “Sports”. The circles dies are from My Favorite Things.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with using your punches and dies.
Happy Tuesday! It’s time for a Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Sketch challenge. This week doesn’t have a specific theme, but I’ve chosen a Thank you card as I can never have enough of those. You have until Monday, January 26th to enter.
Here’s the Sketch:
My card uses Carta Belle 6 x 6 paper pad, “Warm & Cozy”. I cut ovals from My Favorite Things and inked the edges with distress ink in Antique Linen. The sentiment is a word die by Lawn Fawn and to make it stand out, I cut it out four times and layered it. The fiber is from Club Scrap and the metal element is way old from my stash.
I hope you’ll join us this week at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!
