Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit #2
Today I’m back to my March Simon Says Stamp Kit for card two. I used the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge for the design with a MFT stamp called “Cupcake Birthday” that I colored with both Copic Markers and Primsacolor Pencils.

My Favorite Things Sketch #214
Happy Sunday Friends. Today, I’ve chosen to work on sketch #214 from My Favorite Things. The image is “Birthday Princess” I bought on the cheap from the last MFT sale. I colored her with copics and paper pieced her with the February Simon Says Stamp kit, which I also used for the design papers on the card. The circle die is MFT also.

Happy Sunday Friends. I’m having a relaxing day at my craft desk and working on cards for Operation Write Home so I reached for the weekly My Favorite Things Sketch #213 along with the MFT Stamp from OWH Birthday Bash called Funny Bunny. I colored him with Copics and used My Minds Eye “Vanity Fair” paper. The dies are also MFT with the exception of the scallops, which is an older EK Success punch.
My Favorite Things Snowman & Sketch Challenge
Happy Saturday. I’m finally feeling a little better having had my tooth pulled a few days ago. Thankfully, I was on vacation this week so really had nothing to do but heal and rest. I changed up my normal card making and brought out my Prismacolor Pencils after I watched this video from Jennifer McQuire on coloring. I have never felt that I could get the same vibrancy with pencils as I can with Copics, but I think it’s about practice, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. The My Favorite Things stamp set was from a previous Operation Write Home grab bag. There are still some available so check it out. The hill is Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Borders.
My second card is using the My Favorite Things Sketch 204. I used last years Simon Says Stamp Christmas Card Kit and a MFT Snowflake and Sentiment.

My Favorite Things Sketch 203
Today’s card uses My Favorite Things Sketch 203 and last years Simon Says Stamp Christmas Card kit. The gold paper is from America Crafts Christmas Foil which I used a MFT Flag and Snowflake die on. I also stamped the sentiment from MFT’s “Christmas Ornaments” stamp on a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle.
Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit – Happy Holidays
If you aren’t convinced that the Simon Says Stamp kit is a great value, this is the 13th card and I still have enough supplies to make 3 or 4 more! This card is based on the Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #202 from My Favorite Things. I embossed the tree using Verdigris powder from ranger. The scallop border is a Lawn Fawn die.
My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge
I received my Kuretake Watercolor paints in the mail today and I LOVE THEM. Oh wow, what a difference from the small cheap set I was working with. The paint is like butter and easy to pick up and paint with. I found my set on Amazon here. Now just because it’s good paint, doesn’t mean my watercolor skills are any better! Today I made my card using the My Favorite Things Sketch 201. The stamps are from MFT’s “Happy Christmas” and “Choose Hope” The paper is Basic Grey’s “25th & Pine”. I cut out the snowflakes with American Craft 6 x 6 glitter paper and used a Hero Arts gem.

Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit; Card 1
Yippee! I got my November Simon Says Stamp Card kit and it’s CHRISTMAS in the house! My first card is using the My Favorite Things Sketch MFTWSC199. The ornaments are also My Favorite Things Christmas Ornaments cut from American Crafts foil paper in 6 x 6 packs from Ellen Hutson. The sentiment is from the companion stamp set for the Christmas ornaments by MFT called, “Christmas Ornaments”. I finished it off by stamping and embossing some snowflakes, also from the same stamp set. The paper is from the Kit, as is the heart. Enjoy!
