Cards in Envy Challenge: For The KIDS!!

Happy Monday!  That means it’s time for a new Cards in Envy Challenge and this week we are celebrating “For The KIDS! Please make sure your card fits into a standard A2 envelope without any large lumps or bumps.  The challenge will run through Sunday, September 21st and our design team will be choosing their favorite cards to feature on the The Cards in Envy blog.

For my card I used a Mama Elephant Stamptember set from Simon Says Stamp called “Skater Kids”.  I created a scene using a Lawn Fawn stitched die for the grass and the paper pack by Doodlebug called, “Back to School”.  A bit of distress inking and embossing finished off this scene, which I just love.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week for your “For The KIDS” cards at Cards in Envy Challenge!

This card is adorable and your patterned paper choices brilliant! I would never have thought to use the black/white background but it really works with the green, green “grass!” So cute!
