From The Heart Stamps – Midweek Design Team Inspiration
I’m here today with a little Mid-Week DT Inspiration for From The Heart Stamps! My card today is colored with Copic Markers using the “Flower Chick.” To add texture, I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and created a frame using the My Favorite Things “wonky frame” die. My sentiment and banner are from Simon Says Stamp. I hope you’ll stop by this week to check out both the Sketch Challenge and the Stamp of the Month Challenge at the From The Heart Stamps Blog.
I look forward to seeing you over at the From The Heart Stamps Blog and in the Facebook Community. We really love to see your work.

The House That Stamps Built; Designer Choice Challenge
It’s the second Wednesday of August which means it’s time for a Designers Choice Challenge at The House That Stamp Built! Today, Cherri is hosting our challenge and she has chosen “Who Let The Dogs Out.” Another great theme Cheri!
As with our other challenges, we are offering a $25.00 gift certificate to the Repeat Impressions store for our random winner. Don’t forget, if you use a RI stamp, you get an extra entry!
For my “Who Let The Dogs Out” card I stenciled a background using Simon Says Stamp paw print stencil with distress inks. I then stamped Repeat Impressions “Golden Retriever 8121-P” on Bristol Smooth paper to create my focal image. I added “hi friend” from Repeat Impressions “Hello Cling” set.
I wonder who will “let your dogs out” this week over at The House that Stamps Built. Happy Wednesday!
Live, Love, Laugh
Hey Junkies!
The Crafty Nurse here sharing more inky goodness with the newly released Stylized Rose image from Technique Junkies April release. This is a fabulous stamp and perfect for so many occasions. I paired it with the “Live, Love, Laugh Frame SD662″ which as you can see fits perfectly with the stylized rose stamp.
The background was created using Copic Various inks blown around with a straw over glossy card stock. To color the roses, I directly applied Tombow markers to the stamp and spritzed with water for a watercolor look.
I hope you’ve all had a chance to visit the Technique Junkies store to check at the April release. See you in a few weeks with more inky goodness.
