Daily Archives: April 1, 2016
It’s Friday and time for a new release at A Day For Daisies! In addition, we are are also continuing with our “Add Glitter” Challenge. We’d love to have you pop by the ADFD Blog by Thursday, April 3rd to enter your card for a chance to win some free images!
This new release is amazing! For my card today I am using, “Vintage Brides Headpiece” which I’ve colored up with Copics in Neutral Grey and BG tones. The oval dies are My Favorite Things, the “love” die is WPlus9, and the paper is Our Daily Bread.
Spring is here and in artistic fashion, Technique Junkies is presenting the new April release! The fabulous Technique Junkie Design Team will provide an amazing selection of inspiration for your perusal.
Pat is again offering 15% off all April Release Stamps for one week! In addition to new stamps, Technique Junkies has great art supplies like Gelli Plates, stencils, dimensional paints, sprays, and so much more.
My first card uses two techniques from the “Artistic Effects CD. The background is the “Distress Stain Dip” technique and the focal image featuring “Stylized Roses SD666” uses the “Gelato’s Direct” technique. I also did some additional stamping on the focal image using “French Text #S246”. I absolutely love the spring feel of this gorgeous stamp.
My second card features the April release “Elegant Mums S658” using the “Embossed Gelatos Technique from the Artistic Effects CD”. For the sentiment, I used “With Sympathy #SS049”
My next card features the cuddly new stamp called, “Bear With Flowers MC005” which I colored with Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers. I created the texture using the “Ghostly Spatters Technique from the Artistic Effects CD.” I love the playfulness of this new stamp.
For my final project I used the “I Love Rainbows” stamp. To create the rainbow I applied my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in ROYGBV order. The Background is the “Houndstooth Check #S665″ stamp using the Blended Stain Technique from Artistic Effects CD.
Now, that I’ve shown you what I have to offer, I don’t want you to miss any of the other design teams creativity so I encourage you to start hopping at the Technique Junkies Design Team Blog.
If you are arriving from Marilyn’s Blog, you in the right place! Gorgeous project Marilyn!
