Cards in Envy “Put Some Layers On It” Challenge
It’s Monday and time for another Cards In Envy Challenge. This challenge is really unique with a theme of “Put Some Layers On It.” Instead of going for paper layers, I looked around at some of my digital images and found a “Layered Cake” by Sassy Cheryl Designs that I knew would be perfect for this challenge.
Before we get to the card, just a reminder that the Cards in Envy rules are simple and require only that your card fit into a A2 standard envelope.
For my card today I began by coloring “Polly’s Slice of Cake” by Sassy Cheryl’s Designs. Unfortunately, she is no longer in the store, but you can find other great images by Cheryl for you image. I added additional layers using American Crafts “Neapolitan” collection and stamped the background with a My Favorite Things Crosshatch background stamp. I then added the balloons, which are also My Favorite Things dies.
I sure hope we see you at Cards in Envy “Put Some Layers On It” challenge. You have until December 6th to enter.
