The House That Stamps Built: Photo Inspiration
It’s the third Wednesday of the Month and time for The House That Stamps Built photo inspiration challenge. For August, the design team chose a beautiful floral composition. As with all our challenges, let the photo be your guide and use some creative license with your card.
You have until Tuesday, August 25th to enter for a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate at Repeat Impressions. If you use a Repeat Impressions stamp, you’ll get an extra entry!
Here’s the inspiration chosen by our Rock Stars:
For my card I began with my Kuretake Gamsi watercolors then stamped the Repeat Impressions “Ginkgo 5709- I” stamp from the Far East Series and “Random Dots 3404-C” from the Little Fill’ns set with black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder. The “Sending” sentiment is a die from Simon Says Stamp. In addition, if you promise not to tell, I’ve given a sneak peek of the “Hello 9900” sentiment stamp soon to be released!
I hope you’ll join us at The House That Stamps Built, where you may be our next winner! Oh, and don’t forget to get your discount code from my blogs sidebar when you shop at Repeat Impressions Stamps.

Technique Junkies – The Right Shoes
Hello Fellow Junkies!!
It’s The Crafty Nurse here with a clean and simple card share for you using the gorgeous Technique Junkies stamp called “The Right Shoes #SD610.” I colored them with Copic Markers in R05, R27, R46, which is one of my favorite red combinations. The bottom of the shoes are C3, C5, and C7 and the skin colors are E50, E51, and E21.
The background was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder using “Faint Scratches #SD518.” This background stamp is perfect for so many design types and I find myself reaching for it often to add great texture.
The Right Shoes stamp is so striking on it’s own I wanted to showcase it with a clean design. The angle piece was cut using My Favorite Things Blueprint #15 die and I finished off the card with a waxed linen bow.
I hope you are finding some time to get inky today!
