KennyK’s 200th Challenge Celebration!!!!
Today is a special day at the KennyK Krafty Krew’s Blog because we are celebrating the 200th Challenge!! WooHoo!! I am absolutely thrilled to have been chosen to participate as a guest designer for today’s celebration and will stay on as a guest through October 2015.
The theme for the 200th challenge celebration is banners or buntings. We also have some extra prizes to celebrate this special day and they are pretty amazing so we sure hope you’ll participate.
Here are the fabulous prizes:
$25 to Dies to Die For for dies$25 GC to Dawn Lewis‘ shop for markers.
Now how about some inspiration!! I love using flag banners so the challenge was great for me. Today I used Frieda Flapper, one of the KennyK Retro Collection. I colored her with Copic Markers and cut her out using a My Favorite Things flag die. While I still had the die on the image, I distressed with Antique Linen Distress Ink to create a frame. The feathers are from WPlus9 die Fanciful Feathers, sprayed with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays, and distressed with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The paper collection is Creative Agenda by Echo Park and the sentiment is from Avery Elle’s “Lots of Love”.
I hope you will join in for the 200th KennyK Challenge for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Happy Coloring!
