Today I made my own stencil from the instruction provided by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer during the Creative Jumpstart class 2015. I have never done this before and I have to say I’m pretty happy with the outcome. You have to kind of think backward when planning which parts to cut out and I made a mistake in the eyes, making them look crossed by cutting too much, but for the first go, I’m pleased. The photo on the right is the inspiration and it’s just printed on photo paper so that’s why the quality is poor. I just sprayed it with Walnut ink to test it. I can’t wait to make a Art Journaling page with it. Today is the last day of class, but you can take it all year around.
