Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge

Happy Wednesday!  It’s time for a sketch challenge at The House That Stamps Built. You can use the sketch as is or turn it on its head.  Either way, let’s have some fun.  As incentive, the lucky random winner will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Repeat Impressions store.  Even better, if you use Repeat Impressions products, there is an extra entry coming your way.  WooHoo!!

Let’s get started with the sketch:

As you can see, I rotated the sketch as well as the oval element.  The stamp featured is Repeat Impression’s Rebecca 708-K  colored with copic markers.  The background is called “pointillism”, but simply put, its a lot of dots around an image. Some people will concentrate the dots toward the image and then fade them out, which also looks good.  The dies on the card are all from My Favorite Things.  I finished off with a few enamel dots and called it a sketch!

I sure hope we see you at The House that Stamps Built this week!

  1. Great card, Kathy! Love how you turned the sketch 🙂 That is one of my favorite RI images, and you’ve colored it beautifully! Hugs…

  2. I’m going to have to try that pointillism idea! Thanks for sharing. I love your coloring of the image!

  3. Love it- and I pinned so I remember that pointillism idea!

  4. Fantastic job on the sketch, Kathy. I use the pointillism technique in a lot of my creations, but never knew what it was called! Hahaha! Thanks for the info.

  5. What a super bright card. It’s just what I needed to see with our weather today in England! Hugs, Lesley

  6. Love all the colors, layers, and shapes!
