Open-Minded Crafting Challenge #27 “New Year’s Resolutions”

Happy New Year!  Hope this post finds all of you on your way to a fulfilling new 2015!  My resolution for 2015 is a commitment to getting more exercise in my life!  How about you?

Today, Open-Minded Crafting is hosting a New Year’s Resolution Challenge.  As usual we have some fantastic sponsors offering some very generous gifts.  The challenge will remain open through Friday, January 16th so I hope you will join us and share your New Years Resolutions!

Our Sponsors are:

Meljen's Designs SponsorMeljen’s Designs:  Prize: 4 Images of Winners Choice

Stamping BoutiqueThe Stamping Boutique:  Prize: 4 Images of Winners Choice

For some inspiration, my image is from The Stamping Boutique called, “Snowman – Father Time” and features a “chubby” Father Time in the hopes by the end of 2015, he’ll be a little slimmer!  I colored the image with Copic Markers, used a Simon Says Stamp border die, and a Sizzix half-oval die.  Paper is from Recollections “Blue Christmas” and the “2015” is stamped with Hero Arts silver ink using Paper Smooches “Digits” stamp and die set.

  2. This is super cool! I love the colours and those digits look great. And the blush on Father Time’s cheeks is fab detail. 🙂

    Hugs,

  3. Teal is such a striking color against white and paired with gray. I love how all the elements come together.

Thanks for entering Design Team Showcase.
