From The Heart Stamps Think Pink Blog Hop

I am so excited to welcome you today as a guest designer for From the Heart Stamps October Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is “Think Pink” and we’d love for you to check out all our designers to see the gorgeous projects they are showcasing for this honored cause.  As a nurse, I am honored to be a part of this hop that brings awareness to the cause of breast cancer. Through our art, we hope you are inspired and in turn, inspire others this month.

As you hop along today, please leave a comment on each blog entry.  One random commenter will be selected for each blog to win an image of their choice from the FTHS store.  Additionally, one commenter on the From the Heart Stamps Blog will be selected to win a $15.00 gift voucher to the store!  How generous is that??  Thank you Faith!

If you get lost during your hop, you can always find your way back by returning to the From the Heart Stamps blog.

My first project for you today uses Super Birdbrain.  I love the way the birdbrain images can either be masculine or feminine depending on how they are colored.  Today, I used Copic markers to give my birdbrain a pink cape.  The paper is from Basic Grey’s “Fresh Cut” 6 x 6 pack.  I love this paper, it’s just so beautiful.  I used some of My Favorite Things dies for the tag, circle, and horizontal bar across the card.  To finish it off, I added some faux stitching with my favorite white pen, the Signo Uniball White Gel Pen and added some stickers I had from my stash for the sentiment.

My second card for inspiration uses the Hope, Butterflies & Blooms Digital Image.  I also colored this image with Copic Markers, but used some white acrylic paint for the background on a Basic Grey stamp “Life of the Party Dots”.   The label die is Lifestyle Crafts.

Now, head on over to see Kitty’s blog and see what she has created for us to enjoy.  I’ll be right behind you!

Thanks for hopping with us today.  You have until Monday, October 6th – EST.  The winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps blog on Wednesday, October 8th.  Good Luck!
