Watercolor Penny Black
Crazy 4 Challenges inspiration
I made this really fun watercolor flower card which was completed “cased” from Darlene DeVries using above color palette. You can find her video here. It ‘s so very easy and takes only a few distress markers and a brush with water. The stamp is from Penny Black called “Blooming Garden”. I’ve used other images from this set, but never thought to use this little flower (sorry, don’t know the name of it – can anyone tell me)? The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp “Always & Forever”. I topped it off with some tiny pearls form Close to my Heart.

Cards in Envy – School Colors Challenge
Hello Friends! It’s Monday morning and time for another Cards in Envy challenge. In preparation for back to school, the next challenge is looking for cards that reflect school colors. There are so many combinations of school colors to choose from so it should be a very colorful challenge! If you need a little help to find combinations of school colors, here is a link for some popular school colors. Winners will be chosen by the design team and we look forward to see what school colors you come up with.
My card inspiration for you today is an image from Mo Manning at Mo’s Digital Pencil. I colored him with Copic Markers using the University of Maryland Green & Blue colors. My paper is from Echo Park “Boy oh Boy” 6 x 6 pad. The image is cut from a Lawn Fawn Stitched die and the stars are from Simon Says Stamp. You have until Sunday, September 14th to enter a card and don’t forget, Cards in Envy requires a card that will fit in an envelope so no big flowers or stacked embellishments for this challenge. Two, four, six, eight, who do you appreciate……….Cards in Envy!!!!!!
