Here is my first card from the September Simon Says Stamp card kit. The paper is from October Afternoon and has a vintage feel to the whole kit. This isn’t my normal style but I am pleased with the outcome. I did use the CASE(E) this Sketch #89 as a starting point and kept a Clean and Simple feel. Stamping is done with Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Cup o’ Joe and Soft Sand. The apple is Simon Says Stamp Lipstick red and Distress Ink Peeled Paint. Thanks for checking in this morning!
It’s Tuesday and time for another Try Stampin’ on Tuesday card inspiration. We continue the summers mission, which is to work with what makes us happy while using the sketch provided. This card really speaks to what makes me happy this summer in the way of art and that is using watercolors. I just love this new watercolor craze, don’t you? It’s easy to create beautiful art. This weeks sketch is also perfect for using watercolors so I hope you will come on by and enter a card using this sketch:
After white heat embossing my Hero Arts image, I went in rainbow order (ROYGBV – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet) and added watercolor to the left side of the card following the sketch provided. I then added my sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, splattered some black ink also from my watercolors and called her done. I just smile when I see this card and I do hope you like it. So, come on by and see us at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday and show us how you would use our sketch.
