It’s time for another Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge! This time we are looking for anything goes, as long as is kid friendly. We have another 3 wonderfully, generous sponsors:
1) Dollar Graphics Depot offering $15.00 gift certificate
2) Oak Pond Creations offering 3 digital images
3) Fred She Said offering $10.00 gift certificate.
Thank you so much to our sponsors for supporting SAS4Kids!
Now, on to the inspiration. The first 3 cards are from Dollar Graphics Depot called “Pretty Summer Girls”. This is an entire sheet of digital images for $1.00! What a bargain for images that can be used over and over again. To top it off, they are pre-colored, but you don’t have to tell anyone you didn’t color them and you will get rave reviews! I used Simon Says Stamp Sunshine Stamp and Avery Elle Sentiment and flowers. Small cloud dies are Memory Box, Hello Die is Savvy Stamps, Stitched Border and Bubble Dies are Lawn Fawn, Smile Die is My Favorite Things, and fence is Impression Obsessions.
My second inspiration card is from Oak Pond Creations called “Otis the Wizard”. What kid doesn’t like wizards? I wanted this card to be inspirational for a child so I added all the things one can “be”, the first of which, is yourself. I colored Otis with copics. Sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp. Square Die is My Favorite Things. I hope you will stop by SAS4Kids and enter the challenge for a chance at some great prizes. While your at it, donate some cards to kids! You have until August 29, 2014 to enter.
The summer is coming to a close and Open-Minded Crafting is celebrating by sponsoring a challenge featuring The Last Days of Summer! Again, we have some really fantastic sponsors who are offering very generous prizes. All you need to do is enter a card, or three for a chance to win. The last day to enter for this challenge is August 29th. Here is a list of the sponsors and their prizes:
Winning Prize: 3 Images
Winning Prize: 4 Images
Winning Prize: $20.00 Gift Certificate
Milk n’ Coffee
Winning Prize: 5 Images
My design team inspiration today features a Kenny K image called, “Trouble Maker”. She looks a little devious, but, hey, that’s okay because she’s eating my favorite summer food – ICE CREAM!!! When I lived in St. Louis there was an Ice Cream store called Oberweiss. The best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Used to eat pints of the stuff!
For this card I used Amy Tangerine’s “Plus One” paper pack, tag and star die from My Favorite Things, and sentiment from Claudine Hellmuth. I colored the image with Copic markers and called it a card. I like the graphic elements of the paper combined with the “jeans” paper to reflect a teen. I hope you stop by Open-Minded Crafting Challenge, enter a card for some great prizes, and let me know what you think of all the great inspiration the design team offered.
