VCMP Challenge: Backgrounds
The technique for this card was to make your own background. I used the Sketchbook Saturday Sketch as a base, then used one of my favorite techniques taught by Julie Ebersole using Dylusions Ink Spray and Water. It’s really easy and looks great. All you do is emboss your image with white and then spray it down (really well) with water. Take a paint brush and apply ink by blotting in the puddles. It initially doesn’t look great but when it dries, it lightens. Sentiment is WPlus9 “Hand Lettered Hello”.
