Exploring Art Journaling 3 – Day 29
Day 29 was supposed to use Luminarte’s Silk Acrylic Glazes, but not having those, I made my own glaze using Magical’s by Lindy’s Stamp Gang. I started with a small amount of the dry magical’s mixed with Golden’s Acrylic Glazing Liquid in Satin. While I like the glazing for the background, the places where the glaze was used more heavily in the middle of the flowers didn’t really dry well and remained sticky. Not sure if this is because the glaze medium is not supposed to be put on so heavy – though again, I’d use it as a background because I like the glazes color with the mica from the magical’s. The jounaling prompt was what is your dream job? I’d have to say my current one because it allows me the freedom I need to work from home, work the hours I prefer, and have a supportive manager. I do miss all my friends and co-workers from Wellpoint.
